Kia ora friends,

So I'll be stepping WAY outside of my comfort zone to embark on a 3000km cycle journey from the very top of New Zealand to the very bottom, from Cape Reinga to Bluff during the Tour Aotearoa in February 2016. This will be a fully self supported mission & we get one month to complete this adventure with 300 other crazy people. I couldn't think of any better way to experience this recently adopted country of mine & to raise money to get more women & girls out on bikes in Africa, which holds a very special place in my heart. My bike has changed & shaped my life and I want to be able to help others experience the power of bicycles.

I am supporting World Bicycle Relief, an organization providing access to independence and livelihood through The Power of Bicycles, with a personal fundraiser. The money raised through my fundraiser helps to provide specially designed, locally assembled bicycles to students, healthcare workers and entrepreneurs in rural Africa; connecting them with education, healthcare and economic opportunities.

World Bicycle Relief is currently working to provide 50,000 bicycles to students (70% girls), teachers and educational workers in rural Zambia and Zimbabwe. For $147, we can provide a World Bicycle Relief bicycle to a student in need. Every donation helps.

My goal is to raise enough money for at least  20 bikes, which is equivalent to $1 for every kilometer ridden. (3000km / 147 cost per bike = 20 bikes).

Donations to World Bicycle Relief received here,  will enter you into a raffle for prizes donated by my wonderful sponsors ;)

Join me on this journey to help mobilize others to reach their dreams.
