SRAM Factory East
For millions of people around the world, walking is the only possible transportation option for tens of miles from home. And with destinations like schools, medical care, and other services located miles away, decisions are faced every day:
· - Do I let all children spend hours walking to/from school today, or are they better to work on necessary chores at home?
· - Can I spend hours just to get to/from medical care?
· - How do I carry a heavy load or supplies many miles to/from home?
For these people, a simple, dependable bicycle CHANGES THEIR WORLD. And $134 is all that is needed to allow this.

SRAM Bicycle Corporation is dedicated to helping this effort. Through World Bicycle Relief, they have provided low cost, dependable bicycles to those in need. They have even set up assembly centers for the donated bikes in these areas, to both provide jobs for the local economy and expertise on bicycle function and repair.

Locally, the SRAM Factory East team and Java’s Brewin’ Café invite you to help. All we ask is that you meet us at Java’s Brewin’, 296 W Ridge Pike, Royersford, PA 19468 at 9AM on April 26 for the typical Saturday “Java’s Ride”. You may know of this ride, typically cyclists gather and socialize at Java’s, then organize a group training ride in the area.
This day, the SRAM Factory East Team and Java’s will ask you to contribute $20 to WBR while you enjoy free coffee and other swag with other cyclists. All $20 will go directly to WBR; and every $147 buys one bike. Those in attendance can then create a training ride like they normally do, or feel free to just attend Java’s to socialize. No marked roads, no special timed route – ride with friends on the amazing roads in this area at your pace.

Most of us have paid well over $20 to attend a race or ride in the past. We felt this one day that full $20 could go directly to those in need while also supporting a worldwide cycling community. Looking forward to seeing you there.
